Fantastic location! IMHO the best Barcelona area. The area is just perfect to combine Barcelona city exploring, sightseeing and beach holiday. While it is very close to the city centre, which is full of tourists and never sleeps and well connected by excellent public transport links to any corner of the city, the neighbourhood is much calmer, greener and more suited for life. The centerpiece of the area of course is the beach. The apartment is one block away from the sea on the New Marbella Beach (just 4 min walking!). Across the road from very green Diagonal Mar Park with children playground, water fountains and other recreational facilities. On the opposite side of the park (7 minutes walk from the apartment) is the famous Diagonal Mar Shopping centre – renown shopper's paradise! Numerous eating facilities within 5 minutes walk. Mercadona supermarket is one block away. The hospital is one block away. The pharmacy is right next door. Excellent transport links, L4 Selva del Mar Underground station is 5 minutes walk, a bus stop, routes H16 and 26, is right outside. The hop on/ hop off bus stop (Barcelona Bus Touristic Green Route) is on the corner. Extensive facilities for active sports such as cycling, roller skating, etc. are nearby (Barcelona Forum). Secure private underground parking (spacious lot, remote-controlled doors, in the same building). The apartment situated very conveniently for tourists coming by a car because it is situated just 200 meters from Ronda Litoral.
