Una casa familiar: cómoda, práctica, para toda la familia
We live in a quiet, residential neighborhood within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and parks. We often bike over to the park to enjoy the water features, soccer fields, playground, skateboard park, bmx track, basketball courts, and dog park. Easy access to bike paths, golf course, and rec center. Our home is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with very little traffic making it a great spot to rollerblade, ride bikes, and play catch.
The City owned Union Reservoir is a few minutes away offering picnicking, fishing & a dog beach, plus a sailing club.
Longmont is a great town with lots of restaurants and breweries. They have a weekly family bike ride on Wednesdays during the summer, farmers market, lots of music, beer and downtown festivals, 2 live theaters, recreation centers, bike paths, museum, multiple golf courses, and open spaces.
Outside of Longmont lots of towns and activities are easily accessible. Boulder, Ft. Collins, Denver, Denver International Airport, and Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park are all within 45 minutes. Colorado Springs is 90 miles.
The mountains are not far and offer hiking, trail running, fishing, camping, horseback riding, mountain biking, downhill biking, and rafting/kayaking/tubing.
Hiking can be as easy as a stroll around Lily Lake, or to the top of Longmont's namesake Long's Peak in RMNP at 14,000 feet. Many of the trails and open spaces are open to dogs (and horses) as well.
