Lo que te va a encantar en esta casa
This fabulous place is decorated in a typical Parisian style it is quiet and charming apartment is as well placed as it can be right in the heart of the Island Ile Saint Louis, which is the centre of the City of Lights in the 4th district.
It is a cosy, romantic and tastefully decorated one bedroom, which is extremely secure, private, quiet, clean and tidy. It is fully furnished (new appliances, new & quality bed and mattress, new sofa as the bed linen, the dishes, etc ... ). The flat was in June 2015 completely renovated (bathroom, kitchen, terrace,...) . You will enjoy its rare bright and sunny, south-facing well sized terrace with a gorgeous view on the towers of the medieval church Notre Dame.
During the period november to January 2016, a new elevator will be installed in the building. My apartment is on the 5th floor, the new elevator will stop at the fourth floor. The elevator will be placed in such a way that only very minor changes to the walls of the existing stairways need to be done as the elevator will be placed in such a way that it goes up and down in what is now existing free space.
I am sincerely convinced that any possible disturbances should have a very small and limited impact at the level of my apartment.
Lo que te va a encantar del barrio
The apartment is situated in the historic heart of Paris, on the island “Ile Saint Louis”. It offers a cosy village feeling, due to its unique position as a small island right in the very centre of Paris. Ile Saint Louis is linked to the banks of the river Seine by a series of famous bridges.
The island Saint Louis is one of the city's best places to stay, as it is lovely and close by to “everything”.
There are just a few narrow streets that comprise one of the most privileged areas in the city also due to the very restricted car traffic. You will enjoy this quiet refuge and peaceful oasis of calm in the busy Parisian centre, especially when you enjoy the apartment’s terrace and look at the towers of the most famous Parisian medieval church: Notre Dame.
Very appropriate, the island is close to many major attractions and sites and ensures you are immersed in the centre of Paris which allows you to walk to the Ist, IVth, Vth and VIth arrondissements, as the locals call the different quarters of the city. You will love to walk to the Church Notre Dame, which you will already see from your terrace, City Hall (Hotel de Ville), the Centre George Pompidou next to Chatelet/ Les Halles, Saint Michel, La Conciergerie, the impressive Palais de Justice (Palace of Justice), the University Sorbonne, Le Pantheon where the French honour the country’s most important passed persons or the unique 17th century Place des Vosges, the museums Louvre and Orsay, the park Tuilleries, the Palais Royal, the historic & hip quarter called “Le Marais” and the Luxembourg Gardens.
If you are in for shopping, you will love to be close to Rue de Rivoli or you cross the river in the opposite direction to walk to Saint-Germain de Près or the Latin Quarter,.
For avid walkers, Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower are as well accessible by foot. The location has so much to offer as there is an amazingly high number of restaurants considering the tiny size of this island. There are several concentrated near Pont Saint-Louis and rue Saint Louis en l’Ile. Some of the restaurants are exclusive, upscale and expensive; (some of them can delivery you meal ) others are lower-priced eateries that are fabulous too . So you find friendly restaurants, bars, cafes for breakfast, creperies und the remarkably famous headquarter of Bertillon ice cream, which we believe to be the best ice cream in the world. Furthermore there is a world-class chocolatier, a small supermarket-grocery, two fantastics cheese shops, bakeries (there is three on the Island), one of the best butcheries in Paris, a wine store, art galleries, pharmacy and much more. You can enjoy the performers right on the pedestrian only bridge “Pont Saint-Louis” and visit the Church St Louis en l'Ile. Actually, the island is the best place to be close to all and it is only a few steps away from all the action and hustle and bustle. Discover that this is the perfect place to stay and to begin your visit, with postcard-worthy views all around.
There are several metro stations near by as the center line 4 ( takes you to the train station Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est and Montparnasse the very known flee & antics market Clignancourt...) the line 7 ( takes you to Chatelet, Louvre Museum, Pyramides, Opéra...) The line 1 (takes you to Champs Elysées, Charles de Gaule Étoile to catch the free shuttle to the Museum Louis Vuitton Fondation, concorde, Palais Royal, Chateau de Vincennes... ) and furthermore you find the city train station Saint Michel / Notre Dame (here stop two important city trains called RER B and RER C. The later takes you straight to the splendid Chateau de Versailles and RER B serves the Airports Charles De Gaulle and Orly).
