Lo que te va a encantar en esta casa
My appartement is very light. The open doors from the balcony gives you an spacious feel. The sun shines from the end of the morning till the end of the afternoon on the balcony. It is a good place to sit, read or drink or enjoy the sun. (Nice and simple lounger available). The area and street is quiet and relaxed.
>>>There is an open kitchen with eating space (next to the balcony) with an oven, fridge and dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower, a sink with mirror, storage and a washing machine. There is central heating for the colder winters.
>>>In the middle of the space you will find a couch and hocker. From here it is comfortable to watch television. The table next to the tv is for you to work/study on.
>>>There is no separate bedroom. You sleep in the living. There are two single beds. The luxury electric adjustable beds gives maximum comfort. The beds can can be fixed together to make a double bed.
Lo que te va a encantar del barrio
The Javastraat is a mulitcultured street with lots of groceriestores, nice coffeeshops with terras outside. (No not the weetshops, they are also in the neighbourhood, but the real coffee :-)). Also book- and clothstores. A real mix of cultures here. Only a one minute walk away of my apartment.
The area, Amsterdam-East, is up and coming. Nice new coffeebars, shops, a movietheatre ( 1 min. walk) and one of the oldest markets (Dappermarkt/Bravemarket), more then 100 years old. The centre is only 15 minutes biking (there is one bike available) or 10 minutes with public transport (tram or bus).
There are 2 big parks nearby, Oosterpark (Park of East). Great for picknicks and jogging. In the summer they have concerts and movies. And there is Flevopark. Also a big park, here you are able to swim. For pictures of the parks visit http://bit.ly/1O1c0Zz
>>>East-Amsterdam is a area where you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. There is a great mix of cutures (much people from Marocco, Turkey and Surinam), living and working together. >>>The area has been renovated for the last 15 years and it shows. Each month new companies start and shops appear. East has a nice feel to it. Enjoy!
>>>In the centre of Amsterdam you will find all sorts of interesting attractions. A collection of the finest musea in the world, like Anne Frank Museum, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, de 9 straatjes (The 9 streets) with their unique shops and the red light district ofcourse :-) Find everything about Amsterdam on http://www.iamsterdam.com and choose your language above.
>>>From Amsterdam you easily can travel to other parts of Holland, like Rotterdam, Haarlem, Den Hague and Utrecht. Within one hour the train will take you to these beautiful spots. Or take the train to Amsterdam Beach (Zandvoort) with their sea, sand and beachhouses.Tropenmuseum. A beautiful museum nearby (10 minutes walk) with a tropical touch.
